Fontaine de bouniol is a romatic little cottage for 2 people, on a 200 acres farm; in beautiful rustic countryside. There is a big house nearby where the owners (husband and wife) live. The 2 buildings are so positioned to maintain maxium privacy. The 2 houses are surounded by woodland, very peaceful and is away from the road. There are tracks where you can go for walks in the rustic countryside. The cottage has 2 terraces; 1 covered and the other open, you can either sit in the shade or lounge in the sun. the diner/kitchen is well eauipped with cutlery and crockery, electric oven/cooker with 3 gas burners and an electric plate, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, coffee maker, cutlery and crockery, cooking utensil, big dining table with chairs and a bench. Through an archway from the dining area is the large shower room with hand basin and mirror and the wc. up a stone stairway is the mezzanine bedroom with a comfortable double bed with bedside lamps, shelves for your clothes. outside on the terraces are chairs, table, lounges and a barbecue and parasol.

Fontaine de bouniol is in the department of lot et garonne (named after the 2 rivers of france, which flow through the department); a region of tree covered hills and fertile valleys. The prefecture tosn of agen is 21km south of the property. The nearest market town of villeneuve sur lot 9km north of the property, oriinally built by the english in the 13th century, with the strengthened original bridge and an ancient town centre around a market square with its fountain. There are 2 hypermarkets and several supermarkets and farmers' market twice a week at the square. The town offers excellent traditional and modern cuisine, variety of shops and cafes. The ancient fortified hilltop village of pujols 6km from the cottage, has a farmers' market on sundays, also several artisanal boutiques and 2 excellent restaurants. The village of st. Antoine de ficalba 2.5km has a grocer, baker, post office and a restaurant/bar. Cross country horse riding 5km and 2 caves: grottes de fontirou and grottes de lastournelles are 5km and 6km along the country road. Golf, tennis, fishing, boating, canoeing on the rivers, lakes and canal, visiting castles, vineyards and bastides towns and villages are all within half an hour's drive. There are international airports at bergerac, bordeaux and toulouse. Bergerac is 76km, bordeaux is 157km and toulouse is 128km from the cottage. The eurostar from london to lille, connects with the tgv high speed train to agen through bordeaux. Agen is 21km from the cottage.
